If it's one thing we've come to love, it's salsa. Always hit at parties, small get togethers, and dinner on taco night. Now that I've learned to make my own salsa, it comes in great to have handy for rainy day chips and salsa.
[Actually chips and salsa are good any day]
You'll find the recipe below.
Roteli canned tomatoes go into the food processor first.
Followed by the onion and cilantro.
Salt, pepper, cumin, sugar, and lemon juice join the party next.
Give it a whirl in the food processor.
And voila! Homemade salsa ready for the enjoying.
Ingredients:
1 can Roteli Tomatoes (I like mine with green chiles)
1 bunch of Cilantro
1/4 Onion
1 Garlic Clove
Juice of a whole lemon
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
What you'll need:
Food Processor
Chips (yum!)
CAUTION: this recipe is HOT!
